Keynotes & Education

About me

An industrial engineer by education, I’m tech savvy and passionate about smart technologies and applying them in both business and personal life. I’m crazy about the future of learning. As a lecturer, developer and senior executive, I have gained wide experience in the education industry. As an entrepreneur, I have developed 2 different simulations – the Innovation Management Game and the Entrepreneurship Game – and my simulation workshops have been played around the world. I have gained specific interest in the field of Open Innovation and I’d love to write about that on my weblog.

Education & Masterclasses

I’m an experienced educational developer and I’ve developed a wide range of different workshops (2 to 4 hours), masterclasses (1 day – 5 days) and educational programs (1 week – 20 weeks) for clients worldwide. I currently facilitate masterclasses and workshops at PWC Academy, Eindhoven University of Technology, HAN University, Technical University Munich, IE’s Global MBA, Warwick Business School and others.
I have developed 2 different simulation games – the Innovation Management Game and the Entrepreneurship Game – and these simulations have been played around the world. They can be part of the masterclasses. Please contact me if you’re interested in a workshop or masterclass or references.

I’m co-owner and dedicated blogger at Open Innovation with over 150.000 unique visitors per year. I have been spotlighted as a public speaker on the future of education on topics such as gamification, learning & smart technology and entrepreneurship education at a wide range of events worldwide.

In November 2015, I gave a TED-talk about the role of simulation games in higher education and how they could disrupt the education system as we know it. Below, you’ll find the video, the slides I used and the full transcript of the text.
